It's a Bloomin' Shame!

Tsk, tsk, tsk... This little guy is my cartoon version of Legolas. I started a cartoon strip and because I like Orlando Bloom (who plays Legolas) I called the strip "It's a Bloomin' Shame". Some day I hope to post drawn comics on this site.

Quick note.

I have a new favorite toy. I've started pulling apart my engine for engine service class and I just love how much easier it is with my 3/8 in drive impact wrench! Zip, zip, zip and I have the valve cover off. Zip, zip, zip and I have the exhaust manifold off. Zip, zip, zip and I have the valley cover off. Zip, zip, zip and I have the heads off! (I don't remember if I mentioned this, but it's a V6) This week I had to give my cousin Alice the bad news that her car may be dead for good. It probably could be resurrected, but it's a Saturn, it's not worth it. She has oil in her coolant and coolant in her oil. I looked up on ALLDATA and there was a TSB back in '97 saying that this certain line of engines (and her's fell into that category) had problems when they were casting the heads, there were folds in the aluminum and then the heads would crack. So, anyway, back to looking like I'm working.

February all ready!

How the time flies! I thought I'd tell you about a funny thing that happened to me on Sunday. Landon's sister Leal came to church on Sunday and we were talking about when her dad laid over his motorcycle one time moving it in the garage and thats when he decided to sell it to Landon. Well, I got home and it's my week to be in the garage (Jennifer and I are doing this "time share" thing with the garage) anywho, I have to move my motorcyle to my side when she's in the garage and move the cyle to her side when I'm in the garage. So here I am in my nice church cloths and 5 inch clod hopper heels trying to move the bike. Moving it wasn't the problem. The problem came when I went to put the kickstand down. I thought I had it down, but apparently I didn't and when I let go of the bike it started going down. It grabbed my jacket sleeve and took me down with it. Then fuel started to leak out (what I can only assume was) the carbs. I manage to untangle myself from the handlebars and get up, but there is still fuel leaking out, so of course my first thought is "get this bike back up ASAP!". I start pulling up and I'm at that awkward spot where it's just as easy for the bike to go back down as it is to get it up, and I start slipping on the spilt fuel... I'm sure it all had to be comical to watch. But anyway, I managed to get the bike back up without dumping it over agian. So, now I have to go back to work.

short n sweet

Ok, I know I didn't elaborate on my last post and Phil called me on that. Well here's the deal. I am now back in school and for the next four months my life is not my own. I will probably not have much time to post here. And if I do, they will be short cause I'm at work. I made the Dean's List with highest honors last sememster. I was really stoked about that. The vacation was fun, and maybe later I'll be able to elaborate some more. TTFN

Yet another year goes by

Hm, ok, so it's been a long time since I wrote anything on this. So if anybody checks this regularly you probably thought I fell off the end of the earth. I came close. I took a vacation out west. Took the bus out to Grand Junction, CO where my little sister Liz picked us(myself, sister Beck, cousin Faith, friend Steph) up and we went back to Telluride where she works. We snowboarded the next day and then drove down to a suburb of Phoenix, AZ to where one of my other cousins lives.

Found! (at least I think)

I may have found my Mac tools. FedEx (the wonderful people they are) delivered my tools to the local Mac distributor! He unpacked the box, wondering why he was getting stuff he didn't order, and added it to his inventory. He's been out of town for a while but should be back now. At this point he has to get my order list from Mac and take the tools back out of his inventory and then I might get my tools. Hopefully it will be tonight. Not that it matters, I can't play with the cycle tonight because I have an electricity midterm tomorrow. Well, back to work.
